For the last part of Caroline’s degree work she chose the theme love, and has illustrated 3 poems by famous poets taken from the book ‘Poems By Heart’ selected by Laura Barber & by Penguin books. She has also produced a mock book cover to compliment her illustrations.
1) ‘A Birthday’ by Christina G Rossetti. Caroline interpreted this poem and came to the conclusion it was about the woman’s love either for a man or furthermore with god due to its religious meanings and symbols.

3) ‘The Crocodile’ By Lewis Carroll
